Congratulations to Mrs. Joiner's 5th/6th grade class at South Bay and Mrs. Blanchard's Kindergarten class at Pine Hill for returning the most memberships in 2006/2007. We are looking for more people to join this next year! There are so many fun events and activities that PTO could provide for our kids if we had the help. Please join us! Membership is only $5 per family for the year and entitles you to discounts at our events. |
About PTO
The South Bay / Pine Hill PTO is made up of parents, teachers, and other adults involved with the lives of our children at South Bay and Pine Hill Schools. We provide fun activities and events for all involved while raising a little money to purchase things for the classrooms.
We meet the third Thursday of each month at 6pm, alternating at the schools. Watch the marquees and keep an eye out for fliers with details.
How can you get involved?
- Become a member - your membership fee and/or donation will help fund many of the wonderful programs and events that help better our children's educational experience
- Help plan or participate in any of the many events - "many hands make light work"
- Donate food or bake goodies - just about every school event needs refreshments
- Gather donations for prizes and raffle items - visit the generous businesses in the area
- Share your ideas on how we can improve - we do this because we want to be involved with our children and their school, we're no experts and will listen to any helpful hints
