Girls' Dance (February 9, 2007) and Boys' Dance (February 10, 2007)

Everyone who attended the kids' dances had a BLAST! Guests danced to fun music and enjoyed tasty treats. We held two 50/50 drawings and the winner from one of the nights generously gave the money back. All proceeds went to the 6th grade camping trip.

A big thank you to Varsity Ice Cream for the tasty ice cream and the Sequoia Park Zoo Cafe for supplying us with the popcorn machine and supplies. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who helped out at the event and/or brought food. You made the event a success!

Rhododendron Parade (April 2007)

We won the Grand Marshall Trophy for the Best Theme! The theme was "Celebrating North Coast Heroes" and we chose our educators - those people that touch and guide the lives of our children at school, be they teachers, aides, librarians, bus drivers, etc. We were also able to honor 5 long-time employees who were retiring at the end of the school year (and convince them to ride the float!): bus driver Cheri Shepherd, librarian Mrs. Huddleston, principal Mrs. VanVleck, and teachers Mrs. Bradley and Mrs. Saul, with over 120 years of combined service to school children.

A big thank you to all who volunteered their time, Mr. Frank Livingston for the use of his truck and flat bed, and the Bass family for the use of their convertible. Without them, it couldn't be done.
